Red lace

In an old hospital, a nurse is busy going about her daily business. She took a lift to the other patient she's looking after. Inside the lift, there's a boy about 7 years of age, wearing a white gown, looking a bit pale, you can see that he's a patient in the hospital. The nurse greet him nicely as they go up. On they way up to the 5th floor, the lift stopped and there's an old woman standing on the other side, probably waiting for the lift. But when the woman tried to enter, the nurse closed the door before she does. The boy wondered why she did that, so he asked.
''Why did you close it on an old woman?''
''Because she's not from here...''
''What do you mean?''
''That old woman is dead, that's her spirit...''
''How do you know that?''
''You can see a red lace around her wrist...''
The boy raised his right arm towards the nurse and said...
